About Smart Web Concepts

Smart Web Concepts Introduces DealerChats™

Accelerate sales with DealerChats™ Proactive Live Website Chat

The Setup: You’re at your dealership, and a prospective customer visits your lot and starts checking out your vehicles. Do you ignore the prospect until he or she finally moves on to a competitor's lot? Or does a sales representative go out to greet the customer to start the sales process?

Real-Time web traffic reporting

Why would the online sales process be different?

Greet your website visitors just as you would on your lot. DealerChats™ makes your website visitors feel as though they are visiting your dealership in person. You can greet them. You can pre-qualify them for credit, and discuss - in real time - the kind of cars that would best suit their needs and budget. You can send them pdf manufacturer brochures and push pages to them showing special discounts and promotions. You can direct them to other departments, such as service or parts and accessories. If your customers need special financing, you can help them by directing their browser to the site of your online credit application or to a preferred auto loan carrier.

The Daunting Task - CRM Service Selection

The Antioch Auto Center chose Smart Web Concepts' CRM application because, according to Chiricuzio, "They're willing to work with us to fashion and customize to our own specific needs." He reiterated the importance of a CRM provider's ability to conform to your dealership's needs, "The most important thing is the flexibility of the provider. How much customizing can I do to fit my particular needs? There are a lot of cookie cutters out there."

Out of Print

"Folsom radio ads tell customers that 'if you want to shop for a car on Monday, you don't have to wait until Friday for the newspaper ads to come out,' he says.
Previously, the store chalked up most of it's sales Friday through Sunday.  Now more cars are sold Monday through Friday than on the weekends. 'We are an everyday store instead of one with peaks and valleys,' Shirley says.

Downward Trend

"Carmichael Honda spend $270,000 to advertise in newspapers in the past year.  Over the next year, though, the dealership in suburban Sacramento, Calif., is slashing it's newspaper ad budget to $80,000.  Why?  One word:  Internet.

'We do surveys when our customers purchase a car,' says Todd Stamps, the store's general sales manager.  'We ask what brought them into the dealership.  Less than 10 percent say newspapers.  Number on by far is the Internet, at 70 to 80 percent.'"
